Leominster Youth Robotics is a collection of robotics teams, parents, business and community leaders working together to ensure that the youth of our community are excited about technology, engineering and science.  We seek to guide the youth as they develop skills and confidence to become the future leaders that our region and nation deserve.

Leominster Youth Robotics Mission:

We seek to open the minds of our youth through the
wonders of science; to enhance their skills through
the exploration of technology; and to enrich them
through professional mentoring.

  • Congratulations to LYR VEX team 549A for winning a major design award at the NH VEX Robotics Competition, and to team 549P for winning the Excellence Award at the QCC MA State Championship.  Both teams have qualified for the World Championship in Anaheim, CA in April!

  • Congratulations to LYR FLL teams "O.W.A.G.A." and "150 Seconds or BUST" for earning their teams a "golden ticket" to the state championships!

  • Registration is closed for the 2011-2012 Robotics FLL & VEX Seasons.

  • LYR was awarded the Community Award from VEX Robotics World Championship.

    The "Community" award is presented to a team recognized for making a difference in the community. This team demonstrates strong community building skills and has made many contributions to help support students and teams beyond their own school. This award is given to a team that makes a concerted effort to change their community's perception and support for technology education.


  • We are accepting donations on-line with PayPal.   All donations  to LYR are tax deductable.

  • The LYR Picasa Photo Albums are online for your viewing.    These albums show the recent  events and tournaments with LYR Participants.
     
  • LYR has created a dynamic Calendar for Coaches to schedule practice times for your teams.

FIRST Lego League Core Values:

The FLL Core Values are the cornerstone of the FLL program.  They are among the fundamental elements that distinguish FLL from other programs of its kind.  By embracing the Core Values, participants learn that friendly competition and mutual gain are not separate goals, and that helping one another is the foundation of teamwork.
